Three for the price of one! Trying to capture a six spotted burnett next to what i thought at first glance was a blob of bird poo...turned out to be a beautiful crab spider! With incoming bee to boot. Very busy patch and a great habitat for butterflies @arnosvalecemetery. This place is dear to me as i grew up playing here back in the 90's when it was wild and untamed. An oasis in the middle of the city. And not at all spooky!...maybe at night πŸ˜„πŸ˜πŸ˜˜ #wildlife #naturelover #bristolcity #30dayswild #beautiful #ukwildlife #insect #butterfly #beesofinstagram #bees #spider #summer #nature #nofilter #butterfly

Day 20 - wild flowers are so important for our ecosystem, the bees love them and they look stunning! These are planted in my local park through an initiative where pack of wild flower seeds are spread in urban areas! We’ve also planted flowers that are bee friendly in our garden too! #30dayswild #randomactofwildness #30dayswildchallenge #wildflowers #bees #butterfly #flowers

We brought home three ladybird pupa that we spotted walking home last week, and we put them in our butterfly net. Still waiting for the last one. #30dayswild #urbanwildlife #natureinthecity #naturestudy #metamorphosis #ladybird

Coniferous Trees πŸŒ²πŸ’šπŸŒ²- Day20 #30DaysWildchallenge - πŸŒ²πŸ’šπŸŒ² Coniferous trees are evergreen trees and keep their needles all year. They create shelter for wildlife, especially in the cold Winter months. πŸŒ¨β„πŸŒ¬ Birds and small animals will feed on the seeds from the cones and just one native tree can support hundreds of species. Birds perch or nest in branches, lichens grow on trunks, blossom brings in nectar-loving insects in spring🌼 and the truits and seeds in the autumn πŸπŸ‚feeds birds and small mammals. Cracks and fissures on the bark of older trees provides shelter for invertebrates and even bats. πŸΏπŸ€πŸπŸ²πŸ¦‹πŸŒ²Coniferous trees that are most popular among wildlife include firs, pines, cedars, hemlocks and spruces. πŸ¦πŸ’šπŸŒΏπŸŒ² Why not go out and see how many you can identify and see if you can spot some of the wonderful wildlife that these amazing trees support! πŸ€—πŸ’šπŸŒ²πŸ˜ŠπŸ€πŸπŸ²πŸ¦‹πŸ›πŸžπŸ•·πŸœπŸ¦Ž - - #30DaysWild #thewildlifetrusts #devonwildlifetrusts #wildlife #coniferous #firtree #trees #natureatitsbest #nature #wildlife #naturefreaks #naturehippys #treesofinstagram #wildlifelover #naturelover #naturethroughcamera_ntc #springwatch #narurephotography #wildlifephotography
