So I recently changed up my usual routine a bit. The warm weather has brought back all the running feels 🏃🏽‍♀️. Which has also motivated me to want to start training for a half marathon. Time to start getting more miles in and cutting back on lifting a bit. My plan is to run 5-6 days a week, while incorporating 3-4 lift days. SIXTEEN STRONG : DAY #12 100% FEELING THE CALORIE DEFICIT 🍰🍰🍰 Hello Day #12 and HELLO Calorie Deficit 😬🙄😫😂 Sixteen Strong for me is about staying strong for Sixteen Days on both the training AND food front; remaining compliant and disciplined throughout. I set myself a challenging but achievable calorie target to hit each day. This calorie target should provide me with just enough energy to train and work etc but should also put my body into enough of a deficit so the fat stores get a bit of a burning too 🙌🏻 remaining compliant and within calories with low calorie snacks like this; Black Tea, Crispy Seaweed Thins and Bluebs...a perfect low calorie snack; just enough to get me to DINNER! And today, the Calorie Deficit definitely, completely HIT, HARD!! Training was tough and I could definitely feel the effects of a lower calorie intake. However, I focused on technique and how lifts felt, keeping weights at a maintenance level and pushed through 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻.
