What we miss the most about Vietnam is the food, especially the hot, sizzling food served on iron skillets like this bò lúc lắc dish (shaken beef) from Bon cafe. The captivating smell of the seasoning, the steaming hot visual and the fun sizzling sound make our stomachs grumble in excitement. Beef was tender, juicy, perfectly cooked medium rare, seasoned well, but a little bit on the sweet side. The taste is exactly like the “real-deal” back in Vietnam. To Van, this dish is better accompanied by French bread/plain Vietsub compared to rice and when enjoying it, don’t forget to dip the bread or rice into the sauce! This colourful skillets with evenly charred beef cubes, crunchy red, green bell peppers and white onions will satisfy all the senses of even the most picky eater. I personally like a slightly thicker noodle. And the dipping sauce tastes like crab bisque! I like individual hot pot cuz I can make mine as spicy as I want, and @shrek.s can put as much pork in his as he wants without having to worry about our soups going to the other side. The meat quality here is pretty high and they slice meats into different thickness depending on the textures. Wagyu beef was tender and soft, and better without any dipping sauce. Boneless prime short rib was really tender too. Pork belly was a little thicker than some places, so that once it's cooked, it doesn't fall apart. The giant shrimp ball is their specialty, but it's just a bigger and less smooth version of the regular shrimp balls. Handcraftedve good texture, so it's not too soft or mushy. The banana egg pancake was amazing! This is actually my second time coming here, because most of my Asian friends on WeChat has been mentioned about it while they're on vacation in Taiwan. So today I have decided to come try this Black Sugar Soft Pearl Latte, it was very disappointing. Why put so much ice when I said less ice 🤷🏻‍♂️ Is ok !(算啦 !)😄 做人最紧要开心🌤🌈😁

This dish is called "pasta katsu container", it has spaghetti, tons and tons of chicken katsu, California roll, fries, salad, butter corn, only $18! The fries came with a Japanese spicy mayonnaise for dipping, the salad had a sesame ginger dressing, I loved eating it all 😋(actually packed a lot of leftover katsu home for lunch tomorrow!) Also had miso soup and awesome roll (similar to California roll but topped with grilled salmon and bonito flakes), everything is delicious!
